LABOR DAY CAMPOUT – Returning in full force this year.

  • LABOR DAY CAMPOUT – Returning in full force this year. 
    • Our annual planning conference PLUS fun program activities. If you’ve been around long enough you remember what these used to be like, almost a laid back version of Summer Camp with the planning conference sprinkled throughout the weekend. 
    • Friday September 4th to Monday September 7th
    • We will have more details soon including pricing. We will have options to stay for only part of the weekend. 

May Camporee

WE ARE TAKING SIGN UPS FOR THE MAY AVIATION CAMPOREE. What is it? It is at Plymouth Airport the first weekend of MAY and we expect to have more details about activities and logistics soon. Why are we taking sign ups now? Because it will open for registration SOON (in February) and it will fill up QUICKLY. $20 to attend, the Troop will cover the rest of the costs. 

February Campout –

February Campout – At Nobscot Scout Reservation, 2/20-2/22 $20. Cabin campout.

January Campout: Weather Tips, and How to Prepare!

  • Next Campout – January 16-18 at Camp Squanto
    • Usual details. Cabin campout. $20 to attend. 
    • We will be staying in the Dakota and Derby cabins.
    • Arrive any time after 6:30pm on Friday. Rides should be in camp on Sunday for a 9AM pickup but no one will be dismissed early without permission from the Scoutmaster and SPL. 
    • We will be spending time outdoors. Bring appropriate clothing and footwear for outdoor winter activities.
    • Don’t forget your mess kit, a flashlight, your Scout handbook, water bottle. 

December Campout

  • Next Campout – December 5-7 at Camp Resolute in Bolton MA
    • Sign up on Monday night! $20 for Scouts and adults. 
    • We are staying in the Craft Pavillion Cabin, which is on the Cub Day Camp side of the property. This is on the other side of the pond so DO NOT go to the main parking lot of camp. Continue down the road to #129 Hudson Road, you should see the sign for “Adventure Day Camp”
    • We are seeking ADULTS who are willing to go on the campout and DRIVE Scouts to the American Heritage Museum on Saturday. The Scouts want to visit the museum but we need committed drivers for this to work.
      • Alternatively, if any adults with large capacity vehicles that are not camping overnight want to help us with transportation for the day on that Saturday, we will cover your admission for the museum.
