• Service Opportunity – Sacred Heart Christmas Eve Parking Lot
  • Father Sean has asked us to assist with the parking lot for the 4pm Christmas Eve mass. You know the parking lot, it’s the one he just allowed us to use to sell wreaths in!

  • Plan to be there at 3pm for this!
  • Wear a uniform along with warm layers. A Troop 19 winter hat or sweatshirt would look great! 
  • If you have a flashlight, bring it with you! If not, we will have some. And Troop 19 safety vests will be available for all.

ABIGAIL ADAMS CLEANUP

Time to give a little back to our community. This will be our FOURTEENTH

year of helping. In the past we have had between 15 and 40 members of

the Troop 19 family pitch in and we have wrapped it up in one to two hours.

These Community Service hours will count towards each scout’s personal

community service hours where needed.

Bring rakes, leaf blowers, leaf vacuums and anything that may help in a

general cleanup of the Abigail Adams Property.

• Veterans Day Parade in Weymouth – That’s on November 11th, naturally. We expect you to participate.
  • We are marching in the parade. This is a Class A uniform activity. 
  • Assemble by 9AM in the lot of the East Weymouth Congregational Church (1320 Commercial St). They will be CLOSING roads in the area shortly after so be on time. There is additional parking available at the Pingree School just down the road. 
  • We will march from Jackson Square to Town Hall and should arrive around 11am. 
  • At 1pm, we will also participate in the town-wide flag retirement ceremony at King Oak Hill Park (Emery Estate) and this could run until 3pm.
  • Scoutmaster Jim McKnight is our point of contact for the parade. 508-254-1798 

Swim Night Returns in October – Wednesday, October 23rd at the Connell Memorial (Weymouth) pool, 7-8pm. 220 Broad St. Tanks-a-lot! to Ryan Hawker for organizing this activity!
