- SWIM NIGHTS?!
- Ryan Hawker has been working hard to schedule a monthly SWIM NIGHT for us year-round. We aim for the 4th Wednesday night of each month. The Connell pool is nice and close to home for many of us however it is NOT AVAILABLE for our use for the next several months due to their busy swim team schedule.
- Ryan is still looking for other options for an indoor pool but if anyone has any suggestions or connections, please reach out to RYAN directly rfhawker@gmail.com
A Scout is thrifty, so we are looking for a no cost or low cost option; the Troop Committee is willing to pay a small per-swimmer fee
- PARADE NEXT SUNDAY 9/21 – We are marching in the Weymouth Irish Heritage Day Parade next Sunday morning!
- The Scoutmaster needs you to arrive starting at 8AM on Sunday at the Hamilton School (400 Union Street Weymouth). There is an attached document from the parade organizers with more info about access.
- This is a uniformed event,
- We hope to see you all there as they’ve given us an opportunity to show off Troop 19 in the community. Maybe we will impress a few new Scouts into joining?

- July 21- BBQ and Sports night at GREAT ESKER PARK – also Pre Summer Camp get together for additional info and discussions
- July 28- Ryan Amusements in Hanover–
- August 4- Trailer Load at Sons of Italy
- August 11- Troop at Summer Camp
- August 18- Mini Golf & Ice Cream at Magoo’s in Rockland
- August 25- Beach Day- swimming & beach games at Sunset Lake
- June Campout at Wompatuck State Park – June 20-22
Originally scheduled for the following weekend but moved to accommodate other Troop activities.
We are tenting in Scout Area #1 which is located next to the parking lot on the gated side of the Transfer Station building, on the left side of the park road shortly after passing the public campground entrance.
We will be racing our newly constructed push carts on the campout!
$20 to sign up.
- June Gym Night is THIS Wednesday at First Church
Always the 2nd Wednesday, have you invited a friend to join us?
17 Church Street in Weymouth Heights, 6:30-8:15PM. Enter through the ramp entrance and take the elevator down to the gym level!
Wear gym clothes.
Your friends are always invited to attend!
Parents, if dropping off early, please ensure we have TWO adult leaders on-site before you abandon your child outside a locked church building.
- June Swim Night will be THIS Thursday, the night after Gym Night, 6PM at the Connell Pool

- Plan to attend Braintree Parade on Saturday June 28th
- Troop 19 Summer Program will kick off on Monday, June 30th with our annual softball game at Webb Park in the Landing. More Summer Program details coming soon!
- Moose Lodge Cleanup – Put in Saturday, May 31st starting at 9AM in your calendars for a cleanup at the Braintree Moose Lodge. They allow us and Pack 19 to meet at their facility weekly for no cost, let’s help them do a little outdoor cleanup.
- We plan to also send a small group over to the Abigail Adams house to do a quick cleanup there. We will likely all meet at the Moose and split up from there.
- Sons of Italy Service Project – SUNDAY June 29th
- Outdoor cleanup and repairs to our storage container
- The Sons of Italy allow us to store our shipping container on their property and use their parking lot for activities. We would like to perform a service project for them on a weekend in June. We also have some work to do to our container.
